Successful participants will gain:

  • Recognised and transferrable qualifications as a demonstration of capability in key workplace skills (Including ILM, NFQ - Irl, NVQ - UK and Europass Recognition).
  • A toolkit of useful skills and insights of general use, at home, at work, in the community.
  • A chance to assess personal strengths and attributes, and to create a new and better future.
  • An opportunity to explore and test any business ideas participants may have. Gaining the skills to frame business proposals for further development.
  • The development of Learning/ Training / Development skills to use both as a learner and a teacher. The programme includes a recognised Trainer qualification.
  • Enhanced personal resilience and bounce back ability, including personal coping skills and basic skills to support others.
  • The opportunity for networking and communications with a diverse group of individuals. Learning from each other and having a bit of craic in the process.
  • The chance to see and do some interesting and unusual things. (Sustainable enterprise visit, outdoor team development etc)
  • Involvement in a personal project to make positive changes to their environment, circumstances or workplace.
  • The development of personal communication skills including making presentations, being interviewed and coaching others.
